R&D area: Smart nano- and quantum-structural materials for enhanced performance and non-destructive monitoring.

This division is led by: Dr. Jamshid Avloni, Ph.D.

Resume: 

Dr. Avloni has more than 40 years of experience involving chemistry, engineering, and physics of traditional polymers and 25 years in developing electrically active polymers and quantum/nano materials. During his academic and industrial career, Dr. Avloni supervised research and development projects sponsored by government agencies such as DARPA, the US Air Force, the World Bank, and the Ulugbek Foundation, as well as private companies such as Northrop Grumman and Monsanto.
